Paris Hilton was released early this morning from jail bringing her three week stay to an end. Hilton was surrounded by an enormous amount of reporters as she left the facility. Paris’ vacation in the Lynwood jail cost taxpayers $1,110 a day. You do the math, that’s a hefty sum of money to keep somebody in jail. Maybe we were better off letting her off the hook. Justice has a hefty price in this case.

Paris Hilton was interviewed for the first time Wednesday since her release from L.A. county jail. This interview took place with CNN’s Larry King. In the one hour interview, Paris responded to allegations of drug use and spoke of the positive and negative influences jail has had on her life. She claims that her jail time has left her with “a new outlook on life.”

When Hilton elaborated on the dull aspects of her jail stay, she spoke of how humiliating it was to be strip-searched. Overall, Paris is glad that she went to jail, saying it was a life-chaning experience. I’m not sure whether what Paris said in her interview is very sincere, but I really hope it is. She will gain so much more if she changes for the better.

This comes after problematic arrangements with both NBC and ABC. Both stations announced their change of heart Friday. Hilton will not be paid for the interview. I’m sure Paris will be crushed to find that she won’t be receiving any paycheck. Nonetheless, I’m quite confident she’ll manage.

It is the end of the road for Paris Hilton. She will be released Tuesday from jail where she will have spent 23 days behind bars. People Magazine reports that the socialite may be released at any time during the day. Hilton received 22 days worth of amnesty for “good behavior”. Her original sentence called for 45 days of imprisonment.

I’m overjoyed that this hysteria will be over soon…..so must the Sheriff’s department. My only question is…did she actually learn anything? Probably not, but the next time she does something dumb that equates to several years in jail, I’m sure she’ll get the message.

An effort is underway to hoist Los Angeles Sheriff, Lee Baca, from his rein at the Sheriff’s department. He has been recieving a grand amount of criticism for his recent handling of Paris Hiltons’ imprisonment, where he released her home three days into her sentence. Baca, of course, denies any allegations that Hilton received any amount of preferential treatment.

My take on this: I think Baca of full of it. He’s pulled this kind of stunt before. Who remembers Mel Gibson? Baca along with others in the Sheriff’s department claimed that Gibson was apprehended without incident and with no special treatment. However, when the actual police report was leaked, it was found that Gibson was in fact defiant and yelled out several anti-semitist slurs. I really don’t know if Lee Baca deserves another chance. The first time was inexcusable, but to do this again is just begging to be recalled.

As everyone knows, Paris Hilton is not recieving any sort of preferential treatment. Right…..? Then explain to me how her family members were able to cruise right to the front of the line when they came to visit her. A visitior at the jail, Alvina Floyd, said she waited nearly four hours to see her fiance who is currently behind bars. Another visitor claims to have been rushed out of the visiting room in anticipation for the Hiltons’ arrival. What kind of country do we live in where people can be shoved aside like that to make way for celebrities? Is there any more decency in America? I think not.

The talent agency which represents her, the Endeavor talent agency, claims that she is no longer a client. It looks to me like she’s going to have a lot of house work to do when she gets out of jail. Oh well, she should have thought of that before she drove with a suspended license.

TMZ.com reports that she is crying non-stop and praying. She is also being reportedly treated at the Twin Towers medical ward, where she is being watched by a guard on a continuous basis. Its pretty obvious she’s pulling this stunt for mere attention. It looks like shes very desperate to be released from jail. As far as I’m concerned, if she wants to endanger herself, let her. She dug herself into her own hole, now let her suffer the consequences.

An obviously distraught Paris Hilton was shipped back to jail after her court hearing Friday morning where the judge ruled that she had to serve the remainder of her sentence in prison. Her lack of maturity reached a high when she could be seen crying to her mother claiming the ruling was “not right!”. Judge Michael T. Sauer, the judge who had originally sentenced Paris claimed that he at no time approved the actions of the Sheriff’s department, who willingly released her to serve her sentence in her Holloywood home. Since her return to jail, Paris is reportedly in a jail hospital seeking some type of treatment.

Further, what specific medical condition is keeping her from serving her sentence in jail? That may never be known. Want to know why? Because none exists. Why would anybody think people would buy that crap. Its quite obvious she doesn’t have any “medical condition” that would keep her from staying in jail. This is just some crap excuse to cover up the real reason she was released from jail, her money. How could you call confinement within her home a punishment? She is going to sit at home and continue her party lifestyle. That’s not a punishment. Well, theres our justice system for you.
