He faced similar charges not too long ago. These are some pretty serious charges for a twenty something year old to accumulate, especially given his level of fame. Ben Roethlisberger is alleged to have sexually assaulted at girl from a nightclub. The victim, who has yet to be identified, alleges that she flagged down an officer following the assault and Ben Roethlisberger was subsequently arrested. The exact details surrounding the assault have yet to be released, however, considering that the victim had to be taken to a hospital, we take it that the assault was severe enough. While the player is not currently in custody, he has not released any sort of statement about the incident. He is said to be cooperating with investigators as they unravel the facts surrounding this unfortunate crime.

Ben Roethlisberger has most recently been involved in litigation with another female who claims to have been raped by the player in the Lake Tahoe area in 2008. The outcome of this suit is still pending, and Ben Roethlisberger has filed a counter-suit against the woman.

According to reports, the bar where this occurred serves a largely college student population, with Georgia State University nearby. Since the age of the victim was reported as being 20, it’s safe to assume that she is a member of the student body at the school.
