This is indeed a tragedy. My sincerest prayers go out to the families of both young ladies as they both have lost a child. This type of crime is senseless and avoidable. Whether Ms. Wimberly was gay or straight, this crime would/could have occured. She could have had an obsession with a teacher, with a boyfriend, with a family member. Let’s stop focusing on her sexual orientation and on how we cant all oull together for the Colette family in this time of sorrow.

It’s funny how we can all say “homosexuality is wrong in God’s eyes and in the same sentence suggest that judging is wrong”. People, love is right in God’s eyes and we don’t sit high enough to judge anyone. Forgiveness and Love is God’s grace and gift to us all. How can we mend Amanda’s family’s broken hearts? Prayer! Pray for them, pray for peace, pray for Teah and learn from this.

Kids, if you get texts that suggest that your friend is in pain or wanting/thinking destructive thoughts…dont ignore them…take them seriously and tell someone right away.

Form everything that i’ve heard about Dillard high school i never thought that Amanda would get killed.i hope that Teah understands the consequences for what she has done because not only did a school get hit with the tragic death of Amanda,but also a family.I know that a family would take it hard if they were told that there daughter/son was killed by another student.And to Amanda’s family i send out a big apology for there loss because of everyone who knew her and of what people read about her everyone knew that she was a kind and generous person with a good heart.
