Time Change Spring 2010
Well, it’s time again for everyone to set their clocks forward in preparation for spring! The official change is supposed to begin tonight at 12 a.m, but for those of you not intending to stay up so late, you can go ahead and set your clocks forward now. Be sure to get it done if you have to wake up early in the morning! The Daylight Savings system which is currently in use in the United States was introduced to help conserve daylight during the spring and into the summer season. Now, there has always been some controversy over its benefits, but seeing how it still is in widespread use, the arguments don’t seem to hold much water.
For those of you planning for a busy day tomorrow, be sure to use your time efficiently! You’ll only have 23 hours worth of day before the weekend comes to end. Also, don’t worry about adjusting anything on your computer. Most PCs running a newer version of Windows or similar should be able to automatically adjust for the change in time. Your body might have a little more difficulty, however. For those of you that wake up early in the morning, you’re gonna have to get used to some sunlight as opposed to the dark while you get ready for work.
