Michelle Felicetta – Jogger Attacked
Michelle Felicetta, a jogger from the Phoenix area was attacked by none other than the fox. Michelle Felicetta was jogging at Granite Mountain when she spotted an oncoming rabid fox. The fox had allegedly set its eyes upon Michelle Felicetta and began approaching her. Michelle Felicetta says she knew something was about to go South, and thus began to walk away from the fox. As she did, the fox hurled itself at her leg and began to bite.
Michelle Felicetta said the fox first got hold of her toe, that was, until she took a hold of it and pulled it back. The fox saw this as an opportunity to bite her arm. At this point, Michelle Felicetta became quite fearful. Whatever she tried to do didn’t seem to work. If she would have yanked the fox from its strong hold, she risked sustaining some serious damage to her arm.
Michelle Felicetta didn’t waste any more time trying to remove the fox from her arm. She quickly headed back to her car, where she was finally able to rid herself of the fox. She then rapped her arm, and put the fox in the trunk of her car.
Michelle Felicetta drove herself down to the nearest medical facility where she was treated for her injuries. As an animal control officer attempted to remove the fox from the car, she was bitten as well. Both Michelle Felicetta and the officer will be receiving a series of rabies vaccinations to ensure they will have no long-term damage from the bites.
