Earthquake strikes near Guatemalan coast
A reported 6.8 magnitude earthquake struck 70 miles off the coast of Guatemala City Wednesday. Initial reports claimed minimal damage and several missing people. However, the United States Geological survey believes there is no danger of a Pacific tsunami. That’s a relief considering some of the damage the city may have sustained. Who knows how much more widespread damage a tsunami could have caused.
