Barbara Bush Hospital Visit

Barbara Bush, former First lady to George Bush Sr., checked into a Texas hospital today for what appears to be some routine tests. According to CNN, she had been feeling under the weather for the last week. She is not expected to remain as a patient for long, pending the outcome of the tests. Bush has undergone at least two surgeries during the past two years, both which currently seem un-related to her complaints of illness. According to former president Bush, the hospital visit isn’t the type to warrant alarm. Bush accompanied his wife to the hospital this morning.
President George W. Bush, who left office not too long ago, has yet to comment on his mother’s admission to the hospital. Jeb Bush has also yet to comment on the bout of illness. We can only hope that the former first lady will recover and that the results of her health tests prove favorable. Since this doesn’t appear to be an emergency-type deal (Bush’s husband drove her to the hospital himself), a quick recovery does look highly possible. At the time of this writing, it was unclear whether the results of any of the tests had come through. Important updates will be reported as they become available.
