9 Firefighters Die Battling Commercial Blaze
Nine firefighters died Monday night after battling a commercial fire in South Carolina. The fire broke out around 7:00pm in a furniture outlet in Charleston, SC. As firefighters were battling the blaze, the roof caved in trapping them inside. Charleston’s Mayor, Joseph P. Riley called the lost firefighters “heroes”. Stories like this have given me an amazing amount of respect for firefighters.
