Office of Chris Benoit’s physician raided

Authorities in Georgia raided the office of Dr. Phil Astin Wednesday into Thursday morning in search of records and other miscellaneous items. DEA spokesman Chuvalo Truesdell claimed the search warrant was obtained in connection with the murder investigation. Benoit’s physician said he had been treating Benoit for low testosterone levels.

Officials are also looking into purchases made by Benoit from Signature Pharmacy and MedXLife.com. The latter used to sell steroids on the internet. However, the company’s attorneys deny that any steroids were sold to Benoit.

Wow, this case is unfolding pretty quickly. This new MedXLife.com lead seems pretty substantial; I’m sure they had some involvement in supplying steroids to Benoit. I mean, what other interest would he have shopping for medications online? He could get them just as easily in a store. I’m curious to see what further investigation into the company will turn up.
